Beçin Castle is built on a flat plateau at an altitude of 200 meters from the plain on the edge of the Milas Plain. The remains found on the steep slope to the north of the castle and on the outskirts are known from the tombs belonging to the Geometric Period and Hellenistic Period, which were found in the rescue excavations carried out by the Milas Museum, that this area was used as a necropolis in the Ancient Period.

In 2007, a children's grave belonging to the Old Bronze Period was unearthed in the pit dug to plant the flag in the north of the castle. The tomb gift and small finds in the soil prove to us that this place was used around 3000 BC.
